Over the moon
This Alpine sunrise was taken when I was visiting a really remote location in Alps. The region was filled with summer flowers. I am dying to get back again for taking more pictures.
This summer sunset on Lake Geneva was just beautiful. At the time of taking these photos, I had a trial version of photoshop so I could blend in many exposures to create this effect.
50 shades of blue
Leaving the footprints
Sunsets everywhere in the world are just a feast. Here is one I saw from atop the fort in Grenoble. I just love the cloud patterns.
Nature is the best painter
Fall in Annecy is one of the best I have seen. The sunset just brings out vivid colors at the lake. This evening was just magical.
Waterfalls are always so beautiful... the water looks beautiful as it goes full force towards the earth.
Work of centuries
The thin structures in the Grottes Choranche grow at the rate of 5 cm per century. It touches my heart to know that something so amazing can be created by just patiently dropping water.
The Grottes Choranche is a marvel in Vercors. The caves have unusually thin stalactites.
The Grottes Choranche caves are also filled with very clear waters. Here, the ultra thin stalctites hanging over the waters.
On our way to the Grottes Choranche, we saw this lovely landscape. I very much like the way the sunlight plays with green shades.
As the golden sunset was ongoing, these two in the Lake Annecy were seemingly unaware of my camera.
The clouds just won't help getting attracted to sun. For warmth may be, perhaps, not the best idea for you clouds!
I would have liked if the horison was craneless. Since I don't use photoshop, I can not remove anything from the pictures. So, here is the evening for you, just the way I saw it.
Drawing a curtain
Annecy has given me some really great sunsets. Here, on my last visit to the place, the sunset is coming to an end as my hands get literally frozen with the cold evening standing by the waters.
Ready to depart
